Before trying to access your account via SSH make sure you request SSH access
To login to your hosting account via SSH, you must use an SSH client software. Many SSH client software are freeware where you can download and use them for free. Here are some of the more popular ones:
Windows OS Users:
1. Download DataFreeway
2. Download PuTTY
Mac OS Users:
1. Download NiftyTelnet SSH
2. Download RBrowser
Once you have installed your SSH client software, configure it with the following SSH details:
Hostname: yourdomain.com (or your IP address)
Username:
Password:
Protocol: SSH2
Port: 22
Note: 'yourdomain.com' should be the actual domain of your hosting account.
