Yes. You can use the "Auto Responders" feature to send a message back automatically to anyone who sends an email to a certain email account. This can be useful for times when you are on vacation or unavailable or if you have a generic message that you wish to send for a support email address.
1. In your control panel (cPanel) or Webmail, click on the "Auto Responders" link under [Mail Management].
2. Under the "Add autoresponder" section, enter the name of the email account that you want to setup an autoresponder in the "Email" field.
3. In the "From" field, enter the email address that you wish to send your autoresponse from.
4. In the "Subject" field, enter a subject for your autoresponse.
5. Leave the "Character set" field as it is and tick on the "HTML Message" checkbox if you want to send your autoresponse in HTML format.
6. The "Body" field is where you enter the contents of your autoresponse.
7. Click on the "Add" button to create the autoresponder.
Note: If the autoresponder was created successfully, the following will appear (except name@yourdomain.com will be the email address you have created the autoresponder for):
Autoresponder Created
name@yourdomain.com was successfully created.
Can I setup an automated email response that sends back to anyone who emails me when I am on vacation?
