How do I change my control panel password (cPanel)?

It is recommended that you change your control panel (cPanel) password through the Client Area, so that you will still be able to log in to cPanel from the Client Area. This will change the cPanel password, and also the password for the main FTP account.

NOTE: Changing your cPanel password here does not change the password of your Client Area. The passwords used to login to your Client Area and the cPanel control panel are maintained separately for security reasons.

Steps

1. Log in to your Client Area.

2. Click on "My Products & Services".

3. Click on the symbol to the right of the service you want to change the password for.

4. Type the new password you'd like in the "Enter New Password" and "Confirm Password" boxes.

5. Click on the "Update" button.

6. Your cPanel password is now changed. You can log in to cPanel using your new password.
